Our Difference

Going to work each and everyday at Allwood Family Dentistry is fun and exciting because of our office, staff and most importantly, our patients. Fun and dentistry are two words not frequently used in the same sentence, but that is exactly why we take such great pride in not being your typical dental office.

As a staff, we are a melting pot of ideas, backgrounds and cultures joined by one common bond of laughter. Laughter and smiles surrounded by patient comfort are our goals. Everyone knows your name when you walk through our doors. Yes, we do all phases of dentistry from implants to white fillings, teeth whitening and cosmetic dentistry, but we also take great pride in caring for the apprehensive child or the anxious senior citizen.

Allwood Family Dentistry treats people,  not just teeth!

The word “Family” in our name is who we really are, from giving prenatal advice to a pregnant mom, to your child’s first checkup before the age of 2, (yes, it can be done!) to our adoring grandparents wanting to maintain a healthy mouth.  We take care of each member of your family with the utmost caring and compassion.

  • We offer dental care 7 days a week and 4 late nights for your convenience.
  • When we are not in the office, Dr.Wolfson can be reached directly by calling the office telephone number.
  • We work with most insurance companies and will help you with your benefits.
  • We are wheelchair accessible.
  • Multiple languages are spoken, including Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic and Italian.

Caring for our patients goes well beyond all the aspects of dentistry. It includes watching a baby while mom is having her teeth cleaned or the playful sound of children in our hallway while their brother or sister is being treated. It also means talking to our wonderful patients about their own families and their lives. It means answering the office phone after hours and either helping with emergencies by making appointments or answering questions that concern our patients. Caring is not just a word we use, it is an action we perform.
